Kyle and I collaborated on this project. Together we searched high and low on Craigslist and the OSU Free and for Sale Facebook page to see what we could get. The idea was inspired by a guy who, a few years ago, started trading on Craigslist with an old phone and ended up with a Porsche.,news-7544.html

Why is this adventure of ours art? Well why is Yoko Ono’s “Cut Piece” and marina Abramovic’s “Rhythm 0” art? They are art because they test the audience. They leave the artist’s fate up to the audience. Our adventure with online trading/selling websites/webpages is almost completely based on the audience as well.
