INTERNET ART: networks, performative programming, and web as context

I’m starting an business soon and I’m finding out that networking is about just as important as the products themselves. Advertising is a big cost for a small business but using the right social networks skills to gather a large amount of followers and everyone has the chance to see, share, like, and buy your things at no cost to you. Having stores (in my case vendors at music festivals)  buy your things wholesale  leads to direct in person sales, lots of people passing by picking up business cards, and seeing your store. Even if they don’t purchase anything at the event they know where to find you online when they are ready to buy.
