INTERNET ART: networks, performative programming, and web as context

Internet Trail

My search initially started with looking for information about illustration. As I advanced further in my trail on the Wikipedia site,  I ended up looking at information about printmaking since it was one of many mediums for illustration. The reasoning for my interest in printmaking making because in the past I studied lithography and is currently learning about other techniques. While searching through the links, I found out one of the references led to MoMA’s  website. This gave me the opportunity to find an art piece by Chris Ofili and it was an etching, which is part of the painting and print section.

  1. I found this to be very informative and interesting at the same time. Though the medium changed, the topic was maintained which has to do with art and the printmaking and illustration of it. My Mom has been begging me to do illustrations for a book she wrote, so this information is going to be very helpful in that aspect. I also loved the artwork displayed on these sites. They are prodigious!
